International Chemical Investors Group, Frankfurt/Main and RÜTGERS Organics, Mannheim, have signed a definitive agreement to acquire the European business of the U.S. wood preservative manufacturer VIANCE.
The transaction includes the production site of CSI Wood Protection Ltd. in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (UK) and the sales and distribution activities of Viance Ltd. in Europe. Closing of the transaction is expected by the end of July.
RÜTGERS Organics continues its growth strategy and focuses on expanding its international presence. With this acquisition, International Chemical Investors Group strengthens the market positions of RÜTGERS Organics in UK, Scandinavia and larger parts of Western- and Eastern Europe. The range of products fits excellently into the existing portfolio of RÜTGERS Organics.
