ICIG Ventures is the venture capital arm of International Chemical Investors Group. We play a strategic role in expanding ICIG’s market-oriented platforms, focusing on industrial biotechnology, chemistry, and materials. Our investments align with the strategic goals of our platforms or enterprises targeting innovations where we can add value.

What We Are Looking For

ICIG Ventures invests in early-stage startups with the potential to reshape industries. Our focus sectors include industrial biotechnology, chemistry, and advanced materials. Below are some examples of the topics we focus on:

Industrial Biotech & Chemistry: Bio-based alternatives, cosmetic ingredients, care chemicals, process efficiency, and process innovations.

Our investment criteria: We invest in startups from seed to Series B stages. Our primary geographic focus is Europe, North America, and Israel, but we are open to opportunities in other regions. Each investment is strategically aligned with ICIG’s long-term vision.

What We Offer

ICIG Ventures prefers direct investments with ticket sizes ranging from €0.25 million to €5 million and syndicates with other investors. As an active partner, we take board seats and provide strategic guidance to our portfolio companies. Beyond capital, we offer startups access to pilot-scale production capabilities, industry expertise, and scale-up support to help transform innovative ideas into commercially viable solutions.
